Where To Buy Jeans For Plus Size

Charlotte Russe has a good selection of trendy jeans (lots of skinnies, lots of artful rips, with a liberal sprinkling of embellishments) at reasonable prices. If you're looking for a pair of distressed boyfriend jeans that won't distress your wallet, this is your place.

Eloquii has a wide variety of colors and fits, so you're pretty much guaranteed to find a pair that suits your style and your denim needs. They have an especially great selection of slightly more formal-looking jeans (their best-selling Kady fit pants in particular), so if you're looking for a pair you can plausibly wear to work, give Eloquii a gander.

Nordstrom is one of the best places to find tons of plus-size jeans from a variety of brands, including NYDJ, Good American, Slink, and Lucky Brand, and their famously lenient return policy means you'll never be stuck with a pair you hate (even if you miss a 30-day window).

Amazon can be sort of a nightmare when it comes to browsing, but if you can stomach a little digging, your reward will be some seriously good deals on a huge variety of brands (Gloria Vanderbilt and Melissa McCarthy Seven7 are particularly well represented), styles, and sizes.

My personal feelings about its flagship Herald Square store aside, Macy's has a good selection of plus-size jeans on offer. I.N.C., the store's in-house brand, and Style & Co. have the most options, but they carry a plethora of other brands as well.

ModCloth is one of the few stores on this list that offers most of its jeans in both straight and plus sizes. They don't have a ton of options, but they do have the vintage-inspired wide-leg market cornered ?.

Avenue is one of the largest plus-size retailers in the country, so it's only appropriate that they have a pretty great selection of jeans in a wide range of sizes and fits, including skinny, straight-leg, and bootcut. Some of the jeans have some minor distressing, but that's about as far as it goes in terms of embellishment, so if you like your denim straight up, this is a good place to look.

Co-founded by Khloe Kardashian and fashion mogul Emma Grede, Good American revolves around the principle that every body deserves great denim. Their innovative Always Fit style does away with traditional sizing and instead offers a one-size-fits-four model. Sizes are included in a range (think 14-18 and 20-26), so the design adapts should your body fluctuate within that range. The high-rise fit has tummy support and the skinny leg is classic and streamlined.

This pair of jeans has a medium rise, fits slim through the hips and thighs and has a skinny leg. But what really makes them special is the tummy-control panel. This stretchy, supportive panel helps to lift and sculpt larger stomachs, giving you a sleeker and more comfortable fit.

McCulloch says she has always found this brand to offer high-quality denim in a variety of silhouettes. The Boyfriend jeans are slouchy but not baggy, meaning they still give shape to your curves. A faded wash adds to the laidback feel, as does a cuffed hem. Pair with sneakers and a boxy sweater for a weekend look.

From shapewear brand Spanx, these straight leg jeans are a pull-on style. In other words, there are no buttons or zippers to dig into your belly as you bend or twist. Instead, a wide waistband stays flat against your skin so that nothing digs in. The stretch denim smoothes and adds just a bit of extra shape to your body.

First, I reached out to plus-size fashion influencers and stylists to get their shopping tips and advice on everything from the best silhouettes available to what types of fabrication to look for (spoiler alert: stretch is key!) on the market today. Next, I researched their picks against online reviews and I also relied on my first-hand experience with buying denim. Finally, I consulted the experts for styling tips as well.

Another benefit of a higher rise: No gapping at the waist, says Tripp. If you have a plus-size hourglass shape, jeans that fit over your hips tend to gap in the waist. But high-rise fits tend to nip in so they accommodate broader hips while also cinching in at the waist.

Remember: You are free to wear whatever silhouette you feel good in. There really are no rules that plus-size women should only stick to certain styles. Different silhouettes may be more appropriate for different events or situations. For example, boyfriend styles tend to look more casual while skinny jeans can be dressed up easily.

If you do need some guidance on styles to try, McDaniel says a skinny silhouette is universally flattering. She also says that pear-shaped women tend to look great in bootcut or straight leg denim and women who are top heavy can easily do a wide leg or trouser jeans because the fuller bottom balances their body.

Flare leg jeans are best for plus size women who are looking to flaunt their curves, thanks to a tighter fit through the waist and hip. This silhouette has a fun retro feel, which is ideal for fashionistas who like to wear something a little different. Pair flare jeans with a V-neck wrap top for maximum impact.

I need really low-rise plus size skinny jeans. High rise jeans, especially high rise skinny jeans, are all the rage now and I absolutely cannot wear them with my body shape. I lost some weight and I am in need of one or two new pair of plus size low rise skinny jeans. I know exactly what fits my body shape but cannot find what I need in any of my usual stores. There has to be a store/web site that sells several different styles/fits of jeans and not just the latest fad.

I just want a nice pair of plus size jeans that are real low rise. Like the Levi's that are discontinued. even Old Navy plus size low rise aren't what they used to be when they first came out. They all say low rise but none of them are and because my torso is fairly short, low rise fit the best

For petite frames, the most important item to avoid when scouring the shelves for jeans is unwanted bunching around the back leg area. Though we support straight-leg and baggier fits, you want to ensure the pair you choose accentuates your frame.

If you have been around for a hot minute, you will know that my favorite brand of jeans for a while now is Madewell. For pretty much my entire life, I was hiking up my jeans, dealing with stretched out butts and knees by noon, and never really feeling like I found a pair that worked for my body.

And then Madewell started making plus sizes in late 2018, and I was shook. Every single pair I tried on was just as good as the late. My apple shaped body was catered to, with waistbands that fit just right and ankles that were still skinny all the way to the bottom. And the best part? They not only have extended sizes in their regular length, but also petite, tall AND extra tall.

Finding the right pair of jeans is often about knowing what styles to avoid. Baggy jeans and wide-leg silhouettes are a no-go with this body type. You want to choose jeans that are the right size and silhouette for you.

When it comes to plus-size jeans, Good American is one of the most popular brands. With its association with Khloe Kardashian, Good American is a size-inclusive denim brand that promises to give women perfectly fitting jeans.

What these three jeans have in common is their high-waist, dark denim color options, and stretch fabric. These are the three features you want to look for when shopping for plus-size jeans for women with big stomachs.

Inside the Isetan department store mentioned above, you can find a brand called Clover Plus which sells high-quality and fashionable clothing with good designs. They sometimes have sales events in Isetan where you can get garments from this brand for a bargain price. Clover Plus is aimed at women who wear sizes between 15 to 27 (US size 24).

Leather pants are hard to find and harder to fit. For women who lean towards the curvy side (standard and plus sizes), these are both highly protective and designed to fit a wider range of female body types.
